1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to the website, reservations, events and services offered by The 22 Venue, Prisiri Lounge & Terrace and The 22 Jazz Club.
By using the website, submitting a form, making a reservation or attending an event, you agree to these terms.
2. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate. However:
- Events may be changed, postponed or cancelled.
- Artists and performers may change.
- Opening hours may change.
- Menu items may be unavailable.
- Photographs are illustrative.
- Website errors may be corrected without notice.
3. Reservations
Submitting a reservation form does not create a confirmed reservation.
A reservation is confirmed only after confirmation by telephone, WhatsApp, email or another agreed method.
Guests must provide accurate contact and reservation information.
4. Late Arrivals and Cancellations
Please contact the relevant venue as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel your reservation.
Tables may only be held for the period communicated in the confirmation. A table may be released if guests arrive late without notice.
Any deposit, cancellation deadline or no-show condition will be communicated before confirmation.
5. Private Events
A private-event enquiry is not a confirmed booking.
A booking is confirmed only after:
- Event details have been agreed
- Written confirmation has been provided
- Any required deposit has been received
Separate event conditions may cover catering, drinks, entertainment, decorations, equipment, damages and cancellation.
6. Events and Admission
Where tickets or entrance fees apply:
- Entry is valid only for the specified event.
- Tickets or confirmations may not be copied.
- Event programmes and performers may change.
- Guests may be required to show confirmation or identification.
- Age restrictions may apply to specific events.
Refund or transfer conditions will be communicated when booking.
7. Prices and Payments
Unless stated otherwise, prices are communicated in Surinamese dollars.
A reservation or event may require a deposit or advance payment. Additional services requested after confirmation may result in additional costs.
Obvious pricing errors may be corrected.
8. Food Allergies
Guests must tell our team about allergies or dietary requirements when reserving and again when ordering.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements. However, food is prepared in an environment where allergens may be present, and complete prevention of cross-contact cannot be guaranteed.
9. Guest Conduct
Guests must behave respectfully toward employees, performers and other visitors.
We may refuse admission or require someone to leave because of:
- Aggressive or disruptive behaviour
- Harassment
- Excessive intoxication
- Illegal activity
- Damage to property
- Safety concerns
- Failure to follow venue rules
Smoking is only permitted in designated areas where allowed.
10. Personal Property
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.
The venues are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
11. Photography and Recording
Photography or filming may take place during public events.
Guests who do not want to appear prominently should inform a team member. Commercial photography or professional recording requires prior permission.
12. Intellectual Property
Website text, branding, graphics, photographs and layouts belong to The 22 Venue or their respective owners.
Content may not be reproduced or used commercially without written permission.
13. Third-Party Websites
The website may link to maps, ticket providers and social-media platforms.
We are not responsible for third-party content, security, availability or terms.
14. Website Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted website access. The website may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security or circumstances beyond our control.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses resulting from website interruptions, outdated event information, third-party services or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
16. Events Outside Our Control
Events or reservations may be changed because of severe weather, emergencies, power failures, government restrictions, security concerns, illness or performer unavailability.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected guests.
17. Privacy
Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Suriname.
Disputes should first be discussed directly with the relevant venue. Unresolved disputes may be submitted to the competent court in Suriname.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions when our website, services or operational requirements change.
